Stephen Miller, the MAGA firebrand credited with shaping President Donald Trump’s immigration agenda, accused Illinois Governor JB Pritzker of being a “moron” who “hates America” during his latest on air rant.

During an appearance on Hannity Wednesday evening, Miller's initial calm disposition visibly transformed as he sounded off about “Democrat politicians,” “judges,” and “prosecutors” clamping down on Trump’s controversial anti-immigration and crime agenda.

Miller raised his voice further after host Sean Hannity asked about Pritzker, who has insulted the president on social media and filed lawsuits seeking to thwart Trump’s efforts in Chicago.

“He’s a fool and he’s a moron, but also most importantly, Sean, he hates America,” Miller said. “You can’t love your country and then fight President Trump to keep murderers murdering.”

Like Trump, Miller has characterized most undocumented immigrants as violent criminals – though most evidence does not support that claim.

I didn't really know who Pritzker was before Trump started attacking Chicago, but I've been really impressed with the way he's handled things.

If he truly pisses Stephen Miller off this much, it only makes me like him soooo much more.

For a Billionaire, Pritzker is far from the worst. Seems to care about the rule of law and has compassion for others. It's very strange.

[–] FlexibleToast@lemmy.world 28 points 1 week ago

Except paying taxes. He famously would have toilets removed from his multiple homes so he didn't have to pay the same property taxes on them since they weren't livable without toilets. All billionaires are scum bags.

For a Billionaire

Damn. What a let down…

[–] Tiger666@lemmy.ca 6 points 1 week ago

He was born into his wealth, his family are all billionaires because mom and dad created the Hyatt and Marmon group.

Marmon owned, among other things, the largest rail tank car maker and repairer in North America.

They also own Royal Caribbean International.

The family is worth around $43 billion.

We will see what the future holds.

Honestly, its never a good idea to put people on a pedestal, especially politicians or billionaires.

As far as either of those typically go though, he does seem much more in touch with reality. Like a pro union billionaire who thinks wealthy people could stand to pay more taxes? Maybe he just has a really great PR team?

If it was really that easy though to just buy talent to create a likeable reputation, you would think all the insane oligarchs so eager to usher us into civil war 2, Vietnam 2(3?), and WWIII would be doing a much better job keeping their insane blood lust and hatred for the mudsills on the DL. And you would think the Trump admin would be able to hire lawyers capable of giving better advice and making less absurd legal arguments.

Maybe they actually do have talented teams, we just don't know it bc at the end of the day you can lead a narcissist to water but you can't make him drink.

Yeah real strange when a bunch of other billionaires start coming around your neck of the woods and messing with the people you have been exploiting. I guess I don't know enough about Pritz, but his response seems as simple as the old poker saying you can shear a sheep multiple times but only skin them once. Which is my way of saying he might just take exception to the skinning of his constituents, and is not about fixing shit beyond pragmatic constituent shearing.

He was born into the money and he and his family have multiple charities.

They are still billionaires though.

Billionaires are the reason we are where we are.

Let's see what the future holds for them.

[–] st3ph3n@midwest.social 13 points 1 week ago

He handled the COVID crisis well here too.

[–] Tiger666@lemmy.ca 7 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Don't get too impressed, Pritzker is great to counter drumpf but he and his family are also billionaires.

Trump knows his family and he is disappointed in Pritzker.

Billionaires are the reason we are where we are and Pritzker is included in that category.

We will see what the future holds.

[–] Soulg@ani.social 1 points 1 week ago

He was born into a billionaire family. He didn't personally exploit people to make it.

He has done almost exclusively good this entire presidential term.

[–] desmosthenes@lemmy.world 53 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Steven Miller hates America so much that he’s pushing to send armed troops into all of its biggest and most populous cities.

[–] FenrirIII@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)
[–] Ghostalmedia@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

Which are basically all of America’s big and important cities.

[–] Linktank@lemmy.today 31 points 1 week ago (1 children)

"That idiot hates America! You can't love America and fight the ~~king~~ president! He has ~~plenary~~ executive authority!

The only way to prove you love America in 2025 is to reject and distance yourself from the radical notion of human equality, and embrace the conservative principle of natural heirarchies. Trust me bro, it's the only way to be free... Just a little more inequality and loss of liberty bro, and then you'll be so free. I promise.

[–] besselj@lemmy.ca 31 points 1 week ago

Oh, that's just the daily Two Minutes of Hate

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 23 points 1 week ago

Sadly, he did not literally explode. He just whined a lot.

[–] dhork@lemmy.world 23 points 1 week ago

Yet another headline that I am disappointed to find is a metaphor.

[–] Bluefalcon@discuss.tchncs.de 15 points 1 week ago

Stephen Miller can never look straight into the camera. It's always these weird neck twerking shit.

[–] aesthelete@lemmy.world 8 points 1 week ago

Good, and may nobody be injured by the shrapnel

[–] Stamau123@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago (2 children)

"President Pritzker" has a good sound to it, many people are saying it

[–] cecilkorik@lemmy.ca 7 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Don't fall for it. I understand how appealing any lifeline in a storm can look.

But a billionaire is never on your side no matter how friendly they act. If they cared about your welfare AT ALL they would already be paying taxes, donating massively to real well-established charities they don't run themselves, or just not squeezing money out of people and hoarding wealth in the first place. You don't become a billionaire accidentally and without intention. His words are admittedly nice. He had me almost convinced for awhile. But you have to judge people by their actions, not their words. And having billions of dollars and giving nothing back is an anti-social action. I think he will turn on you the moment he gets what he wants. He might be mildly kinder and gentler about it, he might give you a few token breads and circuses to pacify you better, but only because he understands how to manipulate you better. He knows what he's doing. He's going to perpetuate the status quo, continue to hoard wealth, and will not solve any of our systemic problems. He doesn't give a fuck about any of us.

Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm too cynical. Likely it's better than any realistic alternative. But I've also seen it happen over and over again. You think they're your fucking champion until they get your vote, then poof, they turn into someone else entirely as they find all kinds of interesting and exciting ways to get richer. The corruption goes way, way too deep in these rich bastards. You will never find one who hasn't been corrupted by money. It is an addiction and it affects their minds, I'm sure of it.

[–] Formfiller@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago

I am torn on this. I agree all billionaires are scum but FDR was a class traitor and he did the most good for the working class of any president.

[–] Tiger666@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 week ago

No more billionaires.

[–] iltoroargento@lemmy.sdf.org 5 points 1 week ago

Firebrand? I mean, really? Him?

Let's get some better descriptors going here. I'll start.

Temu Carlos 2's bitch ass evil twin.

[–] Zier@fedia.io 5 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Micro dick bald guy is an enemy of the State. Traitors deserve solitary confinement. Or we could ship him out of the US to a nasty hell hole prison in another country.

[–] Today@lemmy.world 5 points 1 week ago
