Macron is almost single handedly destroying his countries faith in democracy. France has never been a particularly strong democracy obviously, but this is a dangerous eroding of public faith in the rule of law.

The alternatives don't look too good either. I mean if they outlawed Le Pen and her fascists I would be more likely to want a new election, but as it stands, I think this is about as well as things can go.
