Obama did nothing to earn his peace price and yet was still more deserving of it than Trump, even if that Gaza "peace" deal actually materializes.
Nothing says you’re deserving of a “peace” prize more than people being afraid of not awarding it to you.

I can guarantee, the only reason this ceasefire happened is because Trump was deluded in thinking it would be that one magic trick to get a Nobel Peace Prize and therefore was the only thing that got him to finally strongarm Israel. If the genocide continues as soon as the Nobel winner is announced, I'd be certain.

It's his good friend Everyone. They've been friends since they were kids, and Everyone has always been supportive of him.

I don’t think 24 hours is enough. I also don’t think the truce will hold longer than Netanyahu’s next court summons. That said, if Trump’s obsession with topping Obama accidentally ends the genocide in Gaza, that’s still a good outcome for the remaining Gazans. Its not like the prize hasn’t gone to monsters before.
IF things in Gaza improve, Trump still doesn't deserve a peace prize for blowing up Venezuelan fishermen, and for all the invasions of American cities he prattles on about.
