I'm sending out applications for a serious career change. I'd have to go through a bunch of training and stuff (again), but this time, it'll be the right career for me. I can feel it.

Yup. Granted it was after I begged for money because I was going to be homeless and pants shittingly terrifying. And not something I ever want to do again because I felt so so so guilty. I used every cent to everything necessary. Hell someone was like "Get a treat!" and I was like "Fuck that. Bills." but also mostly because I couldn't stomach the idea of spending the money on anything other than what was strictly necessary because I hated myself as is
So paid but... with fine print I should have read lol

Voluntary jobs can be very fulfilling.
I find that I can get six months of interest out of a job, generally. Then the burnout kicks in.
Me when I got a job working counter at train station (I got fired because I cannot figure out fulltime shifts)
What do you mean couldn't figure out full time shifts? Like you forgot to clock out?
I got pretty confused with the shifts schedule. It was just a printed sheet on the wall and changed frequently. Really the main reason is someone else shared my same initials, and I just consistently showed up to the wrong shifts. Probably would have figured out a system eventually, but got canned before that happened.
