I seem to remember the conference last year voting to bring in proportional representation and scrap fptp, and being ignored. Is this any different? I'm not well up on Labour's inner machinery. But at the moment it seems to me like the leadership can just ignore this, like they did the PR vote.
UK Politics
General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don't post to both !uk_politics@feddit.uk and !unitedkingdom@feddit.uk .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.
Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.
Yes the Labour leadership is made up of Zionist prostitutes so most likely it will be ignored. But it's ammunition to take down Kid Starver
they'll they stop funding and arming israel while taking money from israel lobbies right?
Oh no, is this what it feels like for the Labour party to cut your legs from under you? Doesn't feel so good being on the receiving end, does it Keir.
So do they support plasticine action now?
Palestine Action is not the same as Palestine.
They support Palestine, they do not support PA.
Why are they calling it a shock development? This was bound to happen.
It's slightly shocking because Labour leaders tried to pass another motion which stated that Israel might be committing genocide instead of actually committing it, but that didn't work.
