I just did this 3 weeks ago. They give you mosquito nets for the night, and they weren’t that bad anyway. The trip is worth.

...~~to see orangutans~~ to feel mosquitos
you sure the orgatans are not the ones who paid to see you?
How was the rain? We're still in the wet season.
Are mosquitoes a concern in that part of the world? If so and they don't have some nets hiding somewhere you are gonna have a bad time.
We had a mosquito net for night, but they weren't bad. I was surprised.
Wow, obvious to me some people haven't been camping before, that or were miserable the entire time. That looks pretty freaking awesome!
It does, but I was immediately thinking that mattress would be soaked as soon as it rained or they have water coming on deck
This'll need bottles of anti-bug lotion and protective clothing at the very least, and then night comes you'll have to set up mosquito netting besides electric zappers.
I don’t know if it’s unbelievable good or unbelievable bad from the title.
Having gone through their post history, they're generally very appreciative of simple things and beautiful sights, so I'd assume unbelievably good =)
You are correct. I can't believe we actually did it. (We're back now.)
As long as you had fun, nothing else mattress
Daaaaad. Get off the internet
Not until your Mother gets me off 😎
How early did the boat traffic start? Was the place deserted enough to boink before bedtime?
There were only 10 tour boats in the park while we were there, according to the guide. I can only remember seeing one or two on the whole trip. We were two of us on the boat plus the crew which consisted of a guide, a captain, a helper, and a cook. They slept below. How quiet are you?
I just went through your post history too (Also from Northern Ontario).
I love your adventures! Hope you post more pictures.
The important thing these days is: it must be Instagram worthy. That's all that matters.
Your hotel room seems to be missing some walls.
Might want to get a mosquito net.
That's the least of their worries! They might want to get an orangutan net! They can come right in. That's an orangutan bed if they wanted it, not their bed.
This is the fucking dream. Would need a mosquito net, obviously, but otherwise this sounds absolutely amazing.
Does anyone have a link to this cruise?
This is the company we went with. The conditions were a bit basic, but the food was awesome and the river was one of the best experiences in my life. https://www.orangutanapplause.com/
I like how they left you towels, just in case a big wave soaks you while you sleep.
