The Costco I went to told me to check off the "you have a long term condition" box or I couldn't get it. Turns out I did have one anyway, so I guess this was the first time I was happy to be immunocompromised

Anyone know any strategy to get it for cheap without insurance?
I brought my partner to the yearly clinic to get flu and COVID shots under their insurance. I asked them how much it would cost for me without insurance. They seemed annoyed that I was even asking and finally came back with a price of $190 for just the flu vaccine and told me to call someone billing for the COVID shot price. I'm assuming the COVID shot is even more expensive.
Idk where you are, but entirely possible they didn't order enough due to lack of demand. Turns out people willing to sacrifice other people for "normal" also consider themselves expendable.
half the country refuses to get it
try 90% lol
I mean yeah I think I'm pretty much literally the only person at my job who had any interest in it at all
I think uptake rate on the last one the guvmint paid for in 2023 was <20%, so I'm assuming it's even less now.
We can’t even administer Covid vaccines in my state currently without a direct order from a doctor/nurse practitioner
Depending on your state you should just try another location. Make sure to find the Novavax vaccine.
Bigpharmasutra giving us this advice 🤨
I'm just here for the drugged up sex.
Also I love how this shit was basically on the honor system, like, I filled out some paperwork but they didn't even check an ID or anything so i could have just straight made up a name, address, insurance # etc and they wouldn't have found out until they tried to run the insurance? lol
I just went to a CVS and got it, I think Walgreens has them too, although it might be area specific
