what a crock of shit.

At the cost of entry level jobs. So how exactly are future young workers supposed to gain the experience necessary for mid level jobs? Much of the 'lack of employees' that western companies currently complain of are a direct response to those very same companies stopping training of entry level employees 30-40 years ago. You often hear a 70-80 yo CEO brag about how they started in the mailroom and worked their way up. That isn't possible now because companies expect all employees to already surpass the knowledge level needed for a job before they are hired, there is no company training provided.

Yeah, sure, can somebody explain me where senior level workers come from then?

Ah yes, Zoom — the company that squandered their pandemic-era near monopoly on video chat.

I don’t think I’d be taking business advice from them.

Getting rid of CEOs and other executives could enable a 3-day workweek — at the cost of CEO and other executive jobs.

So, seeing how nobody are willing to hire anybody for senior positions without prior experience, how will people get that experience without those entry level jobs and eventually gain access to that mythical 3-day workweek?

So you can easier schedule the two jobs you need to pay rent.

LLMs do not substantially improve productivity, and what they do produce is trash. They're only ready to replace one demographic: the suits.
