Always happy to hear about things getting preserved like this.
Patient Gamers
A gaming community free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

Awesome. I loved those games.
I also loved playing Doom on the thing when I installed Linux on it briefly. π€£
Mine ran Rockbox, which had Doom, Quake, etc plugins
I canβt believe so many were made. I canβt believe your average person could find them and purchase them and sync them. It was basically a proto Apple Store.
Anyone else still use their old clickwheel iPod or just me?
Had mine flashmodded and battery upgraded, continue to happily use on walks.
I'll have to look into that!
I had mine going until the battery went spicy pillow about a year and a half ago and I haven't had time to replace it yet.
That reminds me I need to refresh my backups and prepare for the day the HDD gives out.
I do actually remember having the Sonic games, or at least the first one pictured in the thumbnail.
I've been complaining about no longer having access to the original Sonic game for iPod for years! There wasn't even a way to pirate it up until now. I'm excited to finally replay it with the controls I first learned Sonic on.
Oh mannnnn does that take me back lmbo
Finnish date? Wrong. New Zeland.
