11 years ๐ฅฐ we are both 29 years old
i envy ya'll with concrete dates. my partner and i have been together somewhere around 10 years. we've been talking off and on about getting officially married, partly to have a precise anniversary lol
You can just choose a day and go with it. As long as both of you agree, and it's approximate it's fine. We just count earth going around the sun, it's divided arbitrarily, and Earth's never going to be in exact place anyway.
Yeah, at some point I just chose my cat's birthday since we only had a ballpark age from the shelter.
First date Feb 7, 1987
Nice. I thought my 1991 was old but you're doing very well.
1 week now, lol
15 years together, married 13 next month.
11 years, married for 2.5
7 years. Time flies..
One partner 8 years, the other 4. Still just as deeply in as love!
A year and a half, a year, and a month, in order of duration :3
Together for 12 years, married for 6 years.
April 29, 2009
We met two days before. Three months later we were engaged, a year after that we were married. No regrets.

if I'm reading this right, you hooked up with your roommate? That's a bold strategy, Cotton.
Yep! My best friend's sister, too ๐
Met in 1984. Engaged around 1986. Various hardships ensued. Purchased house together in 2000. Married in 2004. Kid in 2009.
32 years ๐ด๐ป
Coming up on 7 years married, probably about another 2 maybe 3 years together (she seems to think we were dating for a while before I realized it, I'm kind of dense)
We were friends for probably about another 2 or 3 years before that, and for probably about that long again before that we kind of recognized each other as friends-of-friends but only ever bumped into each other in-passing and didn't hang out.
19ยฝ years
25 years, or at least by the date we sort of agree on the first year is a little fuzzy lol.
Our first official date was opening night for the Nic Cage movie The Family Man. Married 3.5 years later.
Together for 22 years, married for 15.
I was going to say that's a long time, then I realized I'm not too far behind! 18/13 for us.
Shit goes fast yo. Like Tom Waits says- Fall in love and get married then boom; How the hell did I get here so soon?
Together for a little over 9 years, married for about a year! ๐
together for 4 days I think??
22 years, been married for ~18 by now... Married twice, to the same woman, first time for the paperwork (that was called a Registered partnership, legally the same as marriage, with a slight difference in the type of "contract"), second time (actual marriage) for the party. Second wedding was 15 years ago
We've been married eleven years, but together for about twenty three. He's still putting up with me, it's wild!
13 years. Married for 6.
First two years were mostly long-distance.
20 years this Christmas, married for 15. Still my favourite person to putter around with.
Holy shit y'all make my relationship feel young. 5.75 yrs
Together for 16, married for 11 or 12
Started dating right after 9/11, not married until 2014. Still together.
Why? That's not really relevant for anything... I've had multiple relations and I love most of them. A few hurt me, most healed me, and most were very passionate. The one I'm currently entertaining is perfect for me.
