The White House confirmed the removal, telling AP in a statement that the vigil was a “hazard to those visiting the White House and the surrounding areas.”

I deeply loathe these fascists and their bullshit. How many people did this "hazard" hurt in its 40 years of existence?

one.

just one.

the whiny orange turd in the big house behind it in the article photograph.. who has never even seen it or knew it existed before now.

But it only wounded his glass-fragile ego

Wow, what did glass do to you?

"He said that it was rat-infested. Not a single rat came out as they took down the cinder blocks.”

There were plenty of rats, you just can't see them in the photos because they were busy receiving orders from the rat-fucker (or is that rugrat-fucker?) in the Oval Office.

Just makes sense as they hate peace and love war.

Surely this will earn him a Nobel peace prize!

Prez and his pals got scared, just like in 2020 when he retreated into a bunker from blm protesters. Until he illegally ordered that protest to be attacked, urging military to shoot them, at least in legs when military balked.

No one will balk this time and keep their position. They think the republic is dead already, the bill of rights does not apply, co equal branches of government were already cancelled by scotus in effect. Judges cannot stop them across the board on anything. Congress is weak at best and sycophantic on balance.

"The vigil was started in 1981 by activist William Thomas to promote nuclear disarmament and an end to global conflicts."

And people wonder why I say protests like this are purely performative.

44 years. 7 Presidents. 11 Presidential elections.

How we doing with that "end to global conflicts"?
