WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - Thousands protested the Trump administration’s crime crackdown in the nation’s capital Saturday.

The Free DC Project hosted the We Are All DC: A National March with the goal of ending what they call the Trump administration’s occupation of the city.

It comes as D.C. Attorney General Brian Schwalb, a Democrat, filed a lawsuit Thursday saying National Guard troops are illegally patrolling neighborhoods throughout the city.

"Crime crackdown"?! I wish media would stop blindly parroting the narrative. When Trump feeds you a dookie between two slices of bread and says it's a Gourmet Trumpburger don't call it a "Gourmet Trumpburger" - it's clearly a shit sandwich, report it as such for fuck's sake...

Statehood in the current administration still means tyranny. Our legal rights are scarcely better than DC’s. Freedom means real autonomy, where power comes from the bottom up, not the top down.

So, democracy. Agreed, that would be nice.

Proletariat democracy. Or "a dictatorship of the proletariat" some might call it.

Only if you want to make your society vulnerable to takeover by power-hungry assholes.
