Why should that be the case? Isn't it all proton?

Yes, yes, I know - Steam Deck is Linux too, but Anti-Cheat Expert (ACE) often targets the hardware directly.

If somebody is looking for an MMO that runs well in Proton I recommend GW2

I recently got back into it and it is still actively developed, has fair monetization and is still awesome.

PS: Warframe and PoE (1 and 2) are also great, but arguably not really an MMO

Big agree about Warframe. I've been playing since 2017 and have not once joined a lobby. The game is very playable solo.

Warframe is how any online game should be done. It is entirely playable from start to finish solo or coop, there is no difference from a content or progression point of view. Also PvP is entirely optional and sandboxed.

it runs on my janky ass arch box without a dedicated gpu so +1 for that
