Premieres October 5th. The new PV is here. Check out the ANN article for additional information. Synopsis for the first season from AniList:

Saitama has a rather peculiar hobby, being a superhero, but despite his heroic deeds and superhuman abilities, a shadow looms over his life. He's become much too powerful, to the point that every opponent ends up defeated with a single punch.

The lack of challenge has driven him into a state of apathy, as he watches his life pass by having lost all enthusiasm, at least until he's unwillingly thrust in the role of being a mentor to the young and revenge-driven Genos.

in the middle it says "the strongest vs the most terrifying" and they are homophones (both are read saikyou)

Gonna be honest, I didn't even finish Season 2 and nothing that's been shown of Season 3 is catching my interest. The manga's art is so good, why bother with a sub-par anime adaptation?

I just rewatched season 2 since it came out. Man it's really fucking bad. It has great stills every now and then, and the garo genos fight is alright. But that's like 5 min of the whole season. It's kinda shocking how little even happens, and how often they pulled the "screen goes black and bad guy is defeated" trick.

yeah, the second season - I didn't get the feeling that they wanted to animate it per se... lots of wide shots w/ no motion aside from a camera pan.... :|

I really wish animes would just do the episodes they need and not go for “let’s pack in as much filler as we can for as many episodes as possible” more often so we don’t end up with shit like Goku and Piccolo going to the dmv

But the whole DBZ filler episodes at least .ade sebse, becuase they ran out of material and had to stall. That's why dragonball kai exists, where they cut out the fillers. The opm manga is far enough that there are no fillers needed. It was all just on a budget

That's true, but admittedly the pacing of the OPM manga itself is pretty slow in this arc.

I was reading the manga and then all the redraws just killed my interest in it. I felt like I kept having to go back and reread stuff and it felt like a chore. At this point I am probably just going to wait until the run is over or a good chunk of time has passed and then read it in a batch.

I don't think there's been a redraw released in the past year tbh

TBH the webcomic is better anyways. Much higher joke-to-page ratio.
