General community for news/discussion in the UK.

Less serious posts should go in !casualuk@feddit.uk or !andfinally@feddit.uk
More serious politics should go in !uk_politics@feddit.uk.

Try not to spam the same link to multiple feddit.uk communities.
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

But then when in power

This headline really make it sound like he's doing some kind of Magneto brain wave power on boobs for his own amusement. In reality he supported hypnotherapy to improve body image of those with dysmorphia, which kind of feel weird to apologise for to be honest.

But if it was the other way around... Mens genetalia are pretty easy to change size of, if the right eyes are looking..

Breasts are not genitals. Women's genitals also change size with arousal.

I never claimed they were, maybe they'll try to change his add size.

He still can't do it with his mind.

I'm pro-Green but I'm not sure about this guy yet. But he might not even be leader by the time of the next general election.

Watch his recent interview with Channel 4. I think you might come around to him.

Has there been a politician that's gone 0-to-controversial quicker than this after being elected?
