Where is the party in opposition that has not been decried as communistic by its opponents in power? Where is the opposition that has not hurled back the branding reproach of communism, against the more advanced opposition parties, as well as against its reactionary adversaries?

From the 2nd paragraph of the Communist manifesto from fucking 1848. Liberals never change.

yea well there is at least one European leader with some spine. Everyone else is trying work around Trump's man childness like the way house staff has to deal with the extremely spoiled kid of a billionaire.

What spine? If Portugal, objectively, says that he is a russian asset, why don't they back up their lip service with actual acts? Idk maybe kick out the US, coughs russian coughs, troops from their country?

If it is only lip service, he is just throwing some crumbs to the dumbass voting base that has no clue what is going on in the world 😅

People need to say it more, so trump will do what he normally does and sues them.

Donald trump always loses once the case gets to discovery. They are never able to produce credible evidence since it's all lies and propaganda.

More of an 'asset' I'd wager, but yeah

Still takes mettle to say it

[–] bennieandthez@lemmygrad.ml 2 points 14 hours ago

Not really, Portugal ain't gonna do shit about it anyways, it's just lip service to appease euronazis.

[–] parlaptie@feddit.org 2 points 18 hours ago

Especially when so few other political leaders are willing to say it anymore.

We're still doing this? Six years after Mueller came back with nothing? After nine years of failing to validate a single point on the Steele dossier? pain

Obligatory

I'm embarrassed to say I bought Russiagate for the first three years, but I can accept new evidence (or the lack of it) and move on.
