In Texas where I live, the cost of groceries in January was already higher compared to previous years. This year has seen rapid price increases of many standard foods. Soon some food may be triple of the cost pre-pandemic

Community resources to help feed cannot keep pace with the demand. Families are being told to not come back too soon.
