Not to mention, during a genocide, it becomes necessary to arm every person part of the group being genocided. If the Israelis kill all the adults in Palestine, where does that leave the children? If the Israelis show they're okay with murdering babies and toddlers with guns and knives, what other option is there?

I am sure this is at least somewhat true, but this reads as pretext for the upcoming escalation in the Gaza occupation and the somehow-worse slaughter they will commit.
I wonder if Hamas is actually constrained more by limits on equipment quantity and ability to train new fighters. Because I have to imagine there’s quite a lot of Gazans who want to take up arms against the entity and feel they have nothing to lose.
It would not surprise me if the fighters are mostly sent out of country for training. With the very close quarters fighting and just incredibly gutsy ambushes they constantly successfully pull off, they can't afford to have green troops trying to learn on the job and getting an entire assault or ambush team killed.
