I used to have a Blackberry Key One, and it was amazing, the ability to use modern android with a physical keyboard, it was even backlit also supported swype typing, but sadly I lost the phone one day on a walk, it was nice while it lasted. . .
I'm thinking I might just get one of those external bluetooth keyboards. Writing stuff while on the train or bus sucks on a touchpad.

definitely interesting . . I bought the Key One for $300 back in 2021. I'll keep it bookmarked in case future me sees the desire for that design again, because right now I just don't use my phone much haha
Today's cell phone companies either don't know (unlikely) or don't care (likely) how badly some of us want different formfactors for cell phones, or having actual, decent, physical keyboards to type on. I am tired of the black rectangle (or folding black rectangle) phone. Give us some damn variety!!
Nokia 6800 and Samsung Galaxy S Relay were two of my favorite phones. The 6800 was an old, dumb phone, where the typical keypad unfolded to reveal a qwerty thumboard.
Relay featured a 5-line thumboard!
These were the only two phones where I bought a second after the first stopped working.
