This British Colombian doesn't want a pipeline...
Nearly all the Indigenous peoples don't want it on their land period, and all of "BC" is their unceeded land.
Coastal residents don't want it because of the risk of shipping accidents, especially the (many of which Indigenous) people that depend on fishing or other ocean resources for their livelihood.
Anyone who's even half environmentally conscious are questioning why we're still investing in fossil fuel infrastructure.
The temporary foreign workers hired from places like India probably aren't thrilled about being exploited by Canada while barely any Canadians will be hired for the new jobs the pipeline "created."
Even economists are warning that the fossil fuel economy is coming to an end and the long term ROI of this project is not guaranteed.
And the people just buying fuel to drive to work and back to their rental will never see any benefits because all of it is being exported at market price.
The government is pushing the pipeline as a "nation building" project that's supposed to "unite" Canadians but all it will do is further divide Canadians and cement Canada as a backwards fossil fuel country that can't move on with the times.
As someone who lives in Alberta. I also don't want any more pipelines. Oil and gas is not the future. It will run out.
We already just dealt with all the bullshit from the TransCanada pipeline. Construction delays and traffic and people backyards being dug up and noise in residential areas. I don't want to deal with all that again. The TransCanada pipeline isn't even operating at full capacity yet I believe.
Pierre Poilievre has the oil industry dick so far up-his ass it's not even funny anymore
He pledged to get rid of single-use plastic bans:
https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/poilievre-scrap-plastics-ban-1.7514037
He was defeated, but he still arguing about Canada needs more plastics:
We can’t get everybody to agree on any basic fact, even the basic fact that we need a pipeline
Who is "we"?
Just to point the usual reality of Conservatives shitting on Conservative things.
They're the ones that have all the "health" Guru's that won't shut up about micro plastics.
And the usual modern alpha male Pierre sounds like he wants to get down in his hands and knees with billions of our money, telling oil companies they can do whatever they want as long they trickle down some goods if they feel like it. Those tight shirts might be cutting off the oxygen to his head.
Who says we needed another pipeline, Pierre?
Eby, and many, many British Columbians are saying we already have enough pipelines, including a major one that's not being used to capacity. So why would we be trying to publicly subsidize another one?
Who says we needed another pipeline, Pierre?
The same people that want to ban bike lanes and encourage gas-guzzling SUVs.

Did he write his MP about this?
I wish I could give more than one up vote.
Poillevre says "my sack itches" who gives a shit
