Brandon Clint Russell, the leader of a neo-Nazi group, had nothing to say before a judge handed down the maximum 20-year sentence for his role in a white supremacist plot to destroy Maryland's power grid.

Baltimore District Court Judge James K. Bredar also ordered lifetime supervision for Russell once he is released.

Bredar called the Florida man "the brains" behind the chilling plan to destroy five Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE) substations in and around Baltimore and create a political revolution.

Feels kinda good, on a Friday, to read this headline.

Eat shit and die, Brandon.

For those who don't know this pest, they had already been imprisoned for 5 years:

In September 2017, Russell pleaded guilty in federal court to possessing an unregistered destructive device and illegally storing explosives; in January 2018, he was sentenced to five years in prison. While in jail awaiting sentencing, he sent bomb-making instructions to his followers.

Why couldn't he resist arrest

Pfft, he’s a white supremacist, they’d never hurt him during arrest.

The maximum sentence for a plot to start a race war is twenty years?

Hot take, but I'm not sure I actually disagree with that.

I do disagree (drastically in most cases) with the maximum sentences for virtually every other offense.

I suppose I can agree the way the system should work, with rehabilitation being the purpose, 20 years is a reasonable maximum and I'd be glad the decision for how long to hold a criminal wasn't mine. I haven't studied the subject, I'd trust the people who have.

Lifetime supervision (after 20 years in prison). The little Nazi baby needs a State mommy and daddy so he doesn't go off criming.

Why are all the white "supremacists" ugly as hell?

It takes a really mediocre dude for your race to become the whole of your identity and sense of achievement.
