One of the grenades detonated, and the other is unaccounted for

I'm reasonably sure that even pigs can count to attach least two.

How are they Nazis? I don’t know them but they had a dangerous job. People who sign up for stuff like this want to help people.

Ex: Someone plants a IED in a crowded area. They go in and disarm the IED to make it safe.

These pigs apparently blew themselves up with ones that had already been confiscated. I doubt they have enough brain power to do what you're describing in your made for TV fantasy.

Cops aren't helping people. They're overwhelming hurting people by massive proportions.

Cops protect capital and private property. They don't protect you.

It depends on the type of grenade, but it'd likely destroy a nearby grenade without detonating it. The explosive mixture in most grenades requires a very high temperature to ignite (provided by the primer), and the blast from a nearby grenade probably wouldn't transfer enough heat to start a second explosion.
