Autologin? (piefed.ca)
submitted 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) by Ofiuco@piefed.ca to c/kde@lemmy.kde.social

How can I login automatically on Fedora 42 KDE 6.4.3?
Some websites say about going to settings/startup shutdown... but I don't seem to have those settings at all?

I only have the automatic start settings to start programs and the session settings, nothing else about it.

And yes, it's the only account and supposed to be administrator, also it's a fresh install.

System settings -> Appearance & style -> Colors & Themes -> Login Screen -> Behaviour

A very logical path for it /s I suppose if you know to search for Login in krunner it doesn't matter

Very logical to put login options as a color/theme 😂

The fact that you can't set up a domain user as default(not autologin) user makes me go crazy, though.
