This is literally lore of RPG Mage: the Ascension. What did you think it was about?
I had no idea; that's why I asked.
Yeah you need to make that clear, it's not a very popular system. This just looks like random mudslinging. Maybe change the title?
Is that better? I think referencing three terms very relevant to the setting and ones most people will likely hear if they ehard about the game, one of which partially shares name with the game, will clue most people.
You did a pisspoor job of lampooning the factions
when they say "people who make the deus vult meme their whole personality," are they not just referring to alt right bros? to my understanding, this was a dogwhistle for a while regarding ones stance on immigration, waxing "nostalgic" about the islamophobia of the crusades
It took me a minute, but I think these are all Crafts from Mage: The Ascension:
- Muslims: Ahl-i-Batin
- Feminists: Sisters of Hippolyta
- Deus vult: Knights Templar
- Goths: Hollow Ones
- Voodoo: Batáa
- Alchemists: Children of Knowledge
- Confucians: Wu Lung
- Polynesians: Kopa Lori
- Rich Africans: ?
Correct. Rich Africans are Ngoma, because their current plan to uplift Africa is to push as many Ngoma Mages and African Sleepers into science and bussiness.
There's nothing alt about them, they are the right base.
That was about Knights of the Temple of Solomon a.k.a. Knight Templars. Which in Mage are actual Christian Mages. They were fired from technocracy for, according to them, criticising the corruption within organization. According to technocracy they were fired for the Crusades. The truth is likely both.
