Saw this one on Reddit (don’t judge haha) and thought I would see what the collective of Lemmy thought!!

I'm my case: it's because I keep getting invited to mini-orgies by the men I have sex with.

It's definitely bragging, but I'm happy to share this anyways: I can count on one hand the number of weekends where I DIDN'T get invited to one ever since I moved to the Midwest; the body positivity here is MIND BLOWING sometimes!

I'm retrospect: I wish I had moved here as soon as I could instead of bothering w California or New York.

Well that’s a little more information then what I was expecting 🙂

I’m glad you’re enjoying yourself and you now have some bragging rights!!

Attractive strangers ask you questions and smile at you. I did a lil "experiment" once in which I tallied/catalogued behavior/treatment towards me with vs without my glasses, unkempt vs styled hair, unflattering vs flattering outfits, etc, and discovered that I definitely experience pretty privilege

That’s pretty cool that you decide to do this experiment.

I assume subconsciously or biologically we’re predisposed to “attractive people”. Playing the part (looking spiffy vs not) would heighten the effect.

Then again, I’m not that smart and just guessing 🙂

My wife experiences this. She is annoyed by how people treat her differently depending on if she's done up or dressed down. People are very kind and helpful if she has makeup and nice clothes on

Every time I reach for something in the supermarket, and my shirt lifts up, and my belly hangs out - I get looks from ALL the ladies.

Lol. My wife was in Walmart trying on sweaters, she didn't buy anything so walked to other aisles to exit, wondering why people were staring. After walking through the whole store she realized her T-shirt had flipped up over her bra with the last sweater she took off. Lol

Need proof. Send photos to verify. \s

I didn’t want to laugh but… I did, sorry! 🙂

Oh it was 100% posted for laughing! Total joke! I just ignore products on the high shelves or use a stick to knock them down so as to not embarrass myself ;-)

I appreciate your humor and bringing it to the conversation!!

If I ever see you at the store I’ll grab the stuff that’s on the high shelves 🙂

Have an awesome day!!

Please don’t be so hard on yourself.

I don't know, because I know exactly how attractive I am to my target demographic: very.

Glad to hear you know where you stand! I don’t think many people are that self aware.
