When you want prices to stay the same but price controls are too socialist.

It’s funny how often socialists could achieve the goals of conservatives better than the conservatives can.

Want to bomb foreign countries without gas prices surging? Nationalize the gas industry.

Want your people to have more babies? House them, feed them, give them healthcare and education.

Think “family values” are being lost? Combat societal alienation by making people’s lives better and creating spaces that encourage neighborly cooperation.

I guess I just got the impression that buying Cybertrucks to prove your loyalty to Leon Munch was a more common thing just from how often those types of people get made fun of.

This is actually Very Smart. Biden kept pressing the Bad President button that made gas prices go up. Trump is telling the gas prices to stay down, thus making him a Good President.

The original meaning of the myth, to be fair, was that Canute was demonstrating that his authority meant nothing to the laws of the universe, to whom God alone is king.

Trump's like an inadvertent Canute here.
