We can't bomb North Korea, they have nukes!
If the US would start bombing North Korea, China would take an interest. That is far higher risk than Iran which has no big allies that could do more than inconvenience the US.
China, Pakistan, and Russia (currently tied up in their own genocidal war) have stated they will back Iran. Those aren't small actors.
