Welcome to c/news! Please read the Hexbear Code of Conduct and remember... we're all comrades here.
Rules:
-- PLEASE KEEP POST TITLES INFORMATIVE --
-- Overly editorialized titles, particularly if they link to opinion pieces, may get your post removed. --
-- All posts must include a link to their source. Screenshots are fine IF you include the link in the post body. --
-- If you are citing a twitter post as news please include not just the twitter.com in your links but also nitter.net (or another Nitter instance). There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/libredirect/ or archive them as you would any other reactionary source using e.g. https://archive.today/ . Twitter screenshots still need to be sourced or they will be removed --

-- Using April 1st as an excuse to post fake headlines, like the resurrection of Kissinger while he is still fortunately dead, will result in the poster being thrown in the gamer gulag and be sentenced to play and beat trashy mobile games like 'Raid: Shadow Legends' in order to be rehabilitated back into general society. --
On the AJ broadcast the two flares on the right have massive flames coming out of them that weren't there before
Maybe this is a dumb question, but what does pissrael's choice not to nuke / try to nuke Iran in the midst of all this say about the efficacy of nuclear deterrence, if it says anything?
Nuclear deterrence is basically why Israel exists, that's pretty much the gist of it.
Where it for the entity not having nukes, all Arab states would have probably formed a new coalition and took it out in a parallel universe.
Haifa POV
No hostile fighter jets have entered Iranian airspace since Saturday, military sources confirm. Israel enjoyed a short window of 'operational freedom' in Iran after the initial paralysis of AD, but have not entered Iran's borders since. This is also proven by the total lack of jet footage, and the fact that all of the AD activations are light air defenses (like ZSU style pea shooters).
Although, some airstrikes are still being carried out from Iraqi airspace. Israel's main bet was on internal chaos immediately following the opening blow, which did not happen, despite a massive network of internal collaborators that was prepared for years by the Mossad. The Israeli operation, at least the 'planned' phase, has come to an end, and they now have to adapt and improvise.

Going to be honest that's just factually not true, we have images and videos of JDAMs and SPICE bombs being used to bomb Tehran on Sunday afternoon, which requires Israeli aircraft to fly hundreds of kilometres within Iranian airspace to drop said bombs on Tehran.
I still worry that they or the US will simply drop nuclear bunker busters on Fordow which will detonate underground. Nobody will care. They will just say they got intel that Iran made their first nuke, so they had "no choice".
Big doubt that no one would care. I think that a covert or overt op to attack Iran's nuclear sites in a way that actually destroys them is going to push the russians and chinese to more action IMO.

Snn.ir seems to be Iranian tv.
I'm amazed at the Dune-like strangeness of modern interstate warfare
What’s dune like about it to you?
We even have our own God Emperor
Tel Aviv impact
touches the lathe
Israel is going to do an USS liberty and say it was Iran
I believe you don't use "an" when the pronounced sounds is that of a Y, even when it's a vowel at the start of the word
Example: A unicorn, a Ukelele, a USS Liberty
More Tel Aviv impacts
Honestly... not even close. The settlers can come back with this one when Iran bombs all their hospitals and prevents essentials good from entering their "country" of Israel.
Oh did someone feel the consequences of their actions?
For anyone wondering about the reported earthquake in Qom near Fordow. It looks like a munitions dump/storage facility was hit, setting off powerful secondary explosions. So not an attack on the nuclear facilities at Fordow, and not a nuclear test.
