Exactly! It's not like you need them to learn good habits to become self-sufficient workers when they grow up.

As much as we beg and plead him, our dog is never going out to get a job. Might as well spoil him with treats and belly rubs!

Our dog is an expert at doing dog things:

  • Wagging
  • Barking at neighbors
  • Chewing bones
  • Barking at package delivery
  • "Sit pretty"
  • Barking at squirrels
  • Ball
  • Barking at nothing

I would absolutely take the side of the pet owner in this case. Although not a pet owner myself, I have seen the love and happiness that pets give. It’s beautiful, and not for outsiders to judge.

I don't spoil my dog but I do consider expenses associated with him to be mental health costs.

I totally agree with my dog when he wants more of the good stuff on his food because so do I on mine.

I've seen this a bazillion times but I will upvote it every single time regardless.
