I, Maki Maehara, was the loner boy in my class, until I made my first friend, Umi Asanagi. Asanagi is always at the center of attention, and boys considered her to be "the second cutest girl in the class." I thought I was just a guy in the shadows, living in a completely different world from her, but it turned out that she liked B-movies, too! Now Asanagi-san secretly comes over to my house on Fridays after school. We have a great time together, as we share the same interests in movies, games, and manga.
