Excellent. I feel like the Ottomans get short shrift as a historical world power. Everyone knows the Roman Empire, Alexander the great, Ancient Egypt, the Arab Conquest etc. But how often do most people think about the Ottoman contributions to civilization and history? Next let's do the Mamluks.
