MODERATORS

The bad China takes are already flowing in, thank for your vigilance on banning reactionaries (after we get a couple comments in).

I voted for refederating but I had forgotten just how brain dead online liberals can be.

Apologies for Harry Potter

[–] Alaskaball@hexbear.net 16 points 2 days ago

You get a hall pass. This one made me grin slightly.

I missed the random posts about hexbears brigading dumb lib takes, the spectre lives agane!

[–] goferking0@lemmy.sdf.org 31 points 2 days ago

brigading is when you see and interact with posts

Just like tankie they're great at removing all actual meaning from words they use.

Then again most large reddit sub mods consider cross posting as brigading so shouldn't be surprised.

I never lose touch with the rest of Lemmy, I'm addicted to the slop inside-im-crying

[–] ANarcoSnowPlow@hexbear.net 5 points 2 days ago

I'm the opposite, I only exist when someone is reading my comments.

[–] MrShankles@reddthat.com 22 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Ya know, my views don't entirely align with hexbears' and I would probably still be called a lib around here... but I did kinda miss y'all. I rather like having opposing views in my feed, and I've never really had issues commenting around here. I guess I mostly lurk, but even so... I've normally had a good time with interactions here. Good to see everyone again!

We engage in good faith conversation when people don't run in like Leroy Jenkins with smug cliché gotchas.

Welcome back!

I wish no harm to lemmy moderator class. my enemy is the lemmy posters

We've already got libs coming at us with "this genocide wouldn't have happened under Harris" and "you hexbear tankies support Trump and this genocide"

SLOP'S BACK ON THE MENU SUUUUU-EEEEEEEEEEE

The modlog is fun to read again rat-salute-2

[–] RedWizard@hexbear.net 21 points 2 days ago (1 children)

God-damn, you are not kidding, I opened the modlog and the first removed comment was wild as hell. We are so back!

[–] came_apart_at_Kmart@hexbear.net 9 points 2 days ago (1 children)

lol, i saw that one in the wild. fucking crazy. sinophobic pilgrim wandering around with his grampy's bent revolver loaded with theatrical bulletpoints, thinking he's gonna tell this town of hardened desperados and posters How Shit Is.

[–] RedWizard@hexbear.net 4 points 1 day ago

Haha! He was really trying.

[–] Comrade_Mushroom@hexbear.net 23 points 2 days ago

Thank you mods for overseeing the endless dunkfest the libs are walking back into

[–] AF_R@hexbear.net 8 points 2 days ago

Yeah I was only in favor of refedding lemmygrad but I respect the decision of the community. If nothing else, it has brought a ton more activity to the site.

[–] OldSoulHippie@hexbear.net 15 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Sorry in advance for the things I'm going to say to .ee users. Not sure who invited them to the party anyway

[–] krolden@lemmy.ml 13 points 2 days ago

I'm happy democracy works at least in one place

[–] Sickos@hexbear.net 14 points 2 days ago

Thanks, mods, your efforts are appreciated

[–] Cman@hexbear.net 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

So what's up with hexbear? Im new to Lemmy and feeling like I fucked up by signing up through hex. I thought it was just " choose any platform and join Lemmy".

[–] GoodGuyWithACat@hexbear.net 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

The instances in theory can all interact through each other (federating), but some instances have banned Hexbear from interacting with them (defederating). Recently, Hexbear wasn't federated with anyone due to technological form, but has since fixed the issue and refederated.

thank you bro
