It's 2025 and the guy is talking about 2028 like he's not going to be bug shit by then.

Strom Thurmond hit triple digits, Ol' turtleface McConnell is 83 and is simply retiring. One would hope the cheeseburgers and diet cokes would have taken care of Donny years ago but here we are.

I give it 1 in 4 chances on the low end that he goes down sometime during this term of what a clinical sort of person might term "natural causes", despite that nothing about his existence is natural.

What about a parley for a Weekend at Bernie's afterward?

There are methods for removing dictators from leadership too. Hopefully he understands that.

Lol, after being explained why option 1 won't work:

Trump replied, “Well, that’s one.”

“But there are others too. There are others.”

When pushed to detail those methods, Trump said, “No.”

Brilliant, cheers for sharing! So accurate. Trump cheese sounds yummy

Well.... If he starts "real" war, he can try to use the FDR case.

[–] Donkter@lemmy.world 11 points 2 days ago (2 children)

I think that's exactly the "methods" he's exploring.

Convince another country to drop a nuke and you might be able to be a wartime president for 10 more years.

I wouldn’t stand for it.

No other country is going to launch a nuclear first strike. None. MAD still exists and anyone willing to launch a first strike is a liability that will be destroyed by every other country adhering to MAD.
