Awesome! They were such fun family games

Some of my favourite games, especially the Lego Marvel Super Heroes🥹

It was so fun flying through the sunbathed new york city with iron man (among others)

I’ve never played that! That sounds fun :) thanks for sharing

Idk why you got downvoted. It's a simple pleasure that I also loved doing.

Also, Lego Marvel Superheroes 1 had the best roster because it included Fantastic Four and X-Men characters.

Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 is just Lego Marvel Avengers 2 Extended.

Lol, not really sure, maybe someone doesnt agree or they dont like marvel (I too dont really do like them, but it was a nice game)

Havent played the superheroes 2, it's been ~4 years that the hdd of my ps3 broke and didnt replace it:/

I tried Avengers (1) too, but I didnt like the open world landscape. Didnt like the afternoon sun that much.😅 I think the noon sunlight superheroes had was probably the best lighting in those games.

For reference, I've played the:

  • lego marvel super heroes 1
  • lego batman 1 (first one we played)
  • lego batman 2
  • lego batman 3
  • lego marvel avengers 1
  • lego movie game 1
  • lego pirates of the caribbean
  • lego star wars 3
  • lego star wars the complete saga

I still have the ps3 disks:)

Unfortunately, this is only the Travelers Tale-style games. None of the classic, unlicensed ones like Lego Island, Lego Racers, Legoland, Bionicle, ect.

Yeah, they do give a place to voice that desire though:

But the journey doesn’t end here! Want to see even more LEGO® classics on GOG? Titles like LEGO IslandLEGO Rock Raiders, or LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga could become reality with your help. Head over to the GOG Dreamlist and vote for your favorites – it’s the best way to show publishers that these games deserve a place in the GOG catalog!

Awww man. No Lego racers? My dad loved that game when I was a kid. He would get so frustrated when he couldn't easily beat a racer I was struggling against lol.

My reaction too! I hope at some point they add it cause I'd buy it purely for the nostalgia

[–] Majorllama@lemmy.world 4 points 4 days ago

I would install GOG on my dad's computer and buy it for him just so he could relive the glory days lol. Beating racer x was so hard for me as a kid haha.

I hope one day someone will remaster Rock Raiders.
