I assume Schumer is still talking to his imaginary couple. And they've been telling him not to go against any norms and to court independents and republicans who might actually vote dem in 2026! It's spooky how much their opinions match his.

I expect that next week Schumer will have a presser with some visual aids and he act as if everything is normal. He won't even say how awful the GOP is. But he will explain how "mean" Trump is being. I don't think I'm joking when I say that the dems will only take action after they do focus groups and polling this week.
