I'd mock the author for having the Secretary of Transport 'bread price fixer' and Vice President 'born again neocon' on the list, but honestly the way Dems work either one might actually be the nominee lmao

The best ones are the ones I haven't never heard of yet.

Also, the numbering got fucked up, but I can't figure out how to fix it shrug-outta-hecks

Edit: thanks to the two people who jumped in to tell me the correct formatting :)

The way that Markdown number lists work (on Lemmy) is that they take the first number in the list and then count up from there regardless of what you actually type for the subsequent numbers. Your options are either putting the list in ascending order or doing away with numbered list formatting entirely by escaping the periods like so:

12\. Doofus 12
11\. Doofus 11

and so on, which looks like this:

12. Doofus 12
11. Doofus 11

Note that you'll need to add two spaces to the end of each line to get line breaks if you take this approach (you can copy from my comment's source below by clicking the little page icon under my comment)

A broken example of 3, 2, 1 vvv

Use "\" to stop automatic formatting.

Fixed vvv

3. blah blah
2. blah blah
1. blah blah

In code vvv

3\. blah blah
2\. blah blah
1\. blah blah

Important - end each line with two spaces or you'll get this vvv

3. blah blah 2. blah blah 1. blah blah

Bernie & Hillary 2028 ∙ He's a little bit country. She's a little bit rock & roll.

Maybe it’s for the best if they were right about 2024 being the last American election

[–] goferking0@lemmy.sdf.org 1 points 3 days ago

Why not hildog & Liz at that point. its their turn

[–] Verito@lemm.ee 1 points 3 days ago

They'd run Liz at the top of the ticket to appear more genuine.
