The deportees arrived in a military plane in handcuffs and Colombia demanded they be picked up via presidential plane in America. Trump refused and threatened sanctions and Colombia placed tariffs on American goods, so Trump had to take it down a notch and the deportees were flown out respectfully via the Colombian president's plane.

This is just a tweet or am I missing something? Are there any articles corroborating that migrants won't be transferred in military planes? I want this to be true that Petro won but I don't see it.

Petro did say that he would "never allow Colombians to be returned handcuffed" but then accepted US terms "without limitation".

After looking it up the only articles I found indicate at best a few presidential plane flights but no more than that; seems most will still be via military flights.

Sadly looking it up, no; it seems at best perhaps a few flights via presidential plane took place but no better than that. Seems most flights will still be military planes.
