I had to look them up but the guy has a fucking podcast because of course he does. EVERYONE IN THE US WANTS A MEDIA CAREER

[–] FumpyAer@hexbear.net 22 points 3 days ago

He was a personal injury lawyer, so yapping was kind of his job already.

i never noticed his bare feet before. ready for combat with the protestors, but not at all prepared to step outside of a clean swept floor to do so. hope those windows behind you never break, buddy.

Bro is wearing full business casual in his without shoes as if he likes it. Business casual looks shit and feels shit to wear why would one willingly west it around their house?

[–] context@hexbear.net 12 points 3 days ago

well if he were out there barefoot with an assault rifle in his pajamas he'd look ridiculous now wouldn't he?

He is secretly hoping the windows break so that he can walk bare foot on the glass and imagine he is John McClane. Gun toting losers are always desperately hoping for an escalation so they can live their fantasy of heroically shooting unarmed protestors.

Really baffling because he has a belt on. Either he got dressed but no shoes or was relaxing with a belt on.

[–] Palacegalleryratio@hexbear.net 5 points 3 days ago (1 children)

As someone who is currently wearing a belt but no shoes… is that weird? I want my jeans to stay up as I walk about the house but I don’t wear shoes inside.

[–] ComradeMonotreme@hexbear.net 2 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I guess what I mean is if I’m taking my shoes (and socks off) I’m taking my belt off too so I can sit on the couch. Heck probably the pants too.

I think we have a different relationship with our belts! My belt never leaves my belt loops. TBH I don’t experience any discomfort from wearing denim and a belt all the time, but my partner changes out of her jeans into something more comfortable at first opportunity which I find baffling so I’m aware other options on this exist.

The most likely answer to this is that they are actually two very large hobbits.

[–] Weedian@hexbear.net 24 points 3 days ago (1 children)

didnt he run for congress and lose?

With almost anyone of any age, I am able to look at them and see them how they must have looked in their prime, young and cool. It feels like I'm seeing the real them. This guy though, I literally cannot imagine that. He was born with that face and that polo.

[–] InevitableSwing@hexbear.net 14 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I'm surprised Trump didn't give them an "official" novelty job with no work in his administration.

[–] CTHlurker@hexbear.net 10 points 3 days ago

Supposedly the guy tried to run for a political office in Missouri and he ate shit, because missouri is not really a state where non-elites are allowed anywhere near the levers of power. Some billionaire failson ended up turfing them out of the primary IIRC.

Please please yes. They so perfectly distill a certain sense of American into discrete packages. It’s just, like, so aesthetically accurate.

He spent so much money on that colt AR to have one that looks like the M16.

[–] SkingradGuard@hexbear.net 7 points 3 days ago (2 children)

Huh I remember this, but I don't remember what it was about. Likely something Burgerbrained

[–] Thorngraff_Ironbeard@hexbear.net 13 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Poor and Colored people had the audacity to march through their affluent neighborhood, where the mayor of St.Louis lives, during BLM protests.

[–] infuziSporg@hexbear.net 2 points 2 days ago

the then* mayor

[–] Mindfury@hexbear.net 12 points 3 days ago (1 children)

i thought it was a BLM march going past their house, so they came out strapped to "defend their property"

[–] blindbunny@lemmy.ml 10 points 3 days ago

Is he going to shoot a crowd of people when a brick hits him in the face? How about a hundred bricks?

[–] 9to5@hexbear.net 10 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

Maybe there will be a Remaster

[–] ComradeMonotreme@hexbear.net 7 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Is he barefoot? Or just weird artifact?

[–] ClathrateG@hexbear.net 12 points 3 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

Apparently they both were

Wtf how have I never seen it brought up before, I guess it's cause most of the msm articles about this they use a cropped picture or it's maybe its a Mandela effect lol

[–] ComradeMonotreme@hexbear.net 11 points 3 days ago

Probably the cropping at the time. But like shoes are the one piece of clothing I’d want if my house was “under attack”. Like AR15, running shoes and naked is more sensible than what they are doing.

[–] Fossifoo@hexbear.net 1 points 2 days ago

(Why have you done this to me, I'm not even USian? I love you Hexbear.)
