I really like Kollontai's critique of this same era, Make Way for Winged Eros: https://www.marxists.org/archive/kollonta/1923/winged-eros.htm
In dismantling the old patriarchal family model and sexual rules of it, the younger generation replaced it with something approximating today's hookup culture. Random individualistic hedonism. She was separating love from its bourgeois understanding. Instead she framed meaningful relationships as love-comradeship where you're dedicated to that partner's self-actualisation and political activism. It's the model I use for relationships.
