Interesting idea.
Change the name from bugout list to emergency preparedness and you'll avoid the preppers and attract the general public.
Hiding items in the output list is not smart and in my country, Australia, water is likely the highest priority item to bring, not 17 rows down, so it might be useful to reorganise the list so you can grab stuff from the top and work your way down until you run out of time or have everything.
There are government issued safety lists which might provide input, since I have no way of evaluating your skillset or credentials.
