I am not saying to update, but if you are like me and contemplating updating to ios 18, with maybe a chance for jailbreak in the next 3 years, the upcoming days are the chance.

I got an M4 iPad on 17.5.1, and have been pulling my hair whether I should update or not. And seeing a few posts about apps requiring 17.6, 17.7, or downright 18.0, is absurd and frightening. We are losing apps compatibility faster and faster.

So I thought I reminde everyone, and also get some insight.
