I wonder why Pelosi is always the mascot for this kind of behavior, when she was like the 6th best performing congressperson, and leagues behind the first?

She's also the one who has fought any attempt to curb it, tooth and nail, for the past couple years.
It is almost like they know the laws that will affect the stock prices of companies and they invest accordingly.

I make what a senator makes but I have nowhere near the net worth because I can't insider trade.
You also don’t network the way a congressman networks
This can lead to insider trading, for sure, but also tons of other business opportunities

Doesn't look like it's beating the S&P 500 by much. It's pretty much parallel with the NASDAQ composite index over the past year.
