...the RX 9070 XT performs decently well, trading blows with the RTX 4070 Ti Super. In NVIDIA's favorite Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K with ray tracing, the RX 9070 XT managed 26 FPS, neck and neck with the RTX 4070 Ti, whereas the RTX 4080 Super was well ahead with 32 FPS.

In 1080p, the RX 9070 XT managed 85 FPS, whereas the RTX 4070 Ti edged past with 2 more frames. The RTX 4080 Super, unsurprisingly, was well ahead once again with 101 FPS. The RX 9070 XT appears far from promising in rasterization performance, as revealed by Black Myth: Wukong. At 4K, the RX 9070 XT managed around 30 FPS, defeating the 4070 Ti Super which managed 28. And at 1080p, the RX 9070 XT raked in 97 FPS, coming shockingly close to the 4080 Super, which managed 99 FPS.

Just give us the damn price, ffs!

Sources I've found say ~600$. And I don't get it. I just checked, 7900xtx costs 1.6k$ rn. If 9070 really is comparable to RX 4080, then they are going to sell it for +/- the current price of 7800XT?

They'll be pricing it against the 5070, not the 4080.

Ok, but if performance really will be comparable to 4080, it seems that it will be much cheaper than more or less similar rx 7900 xtx. Or the latter will drop significantly

...where? Is that CAD or AUD? I can't find many on sale, but I just found a 7900 xtx for $999, and the XTX's MSRP is $999.

$869, $899, $979.

That price is from some random reseller that's out of their mind.

Hmm. Ok, thanks. I'll have to take a look again at what I think about the pricing

I have no idea how it is for your country specifically, but for the US pcpartpicker.com is pretty amazing for price checking stuff. I know it works for a lot of other countries as well.

Thanks :) I know the site. It does not operate here, and tbh I tend to re-search any part that I know the exact model I want to get anyway. Often shops that are not on shop-gathering sites have a tad lower prices

AMD is so fucked this gen. Intel and Apple are going to tear into their share from the bottom unless they price this shit ultra aggressive.

I think they will be fine in the iGPU space.
