Is Bird Flu the same as the Chinese Human Metapneumo-virus though or is that a different plague?

Human Metapneumovirus is a virus with symptoms resembling the common cold. China is apparently having an upsurge of cases.

This doesn't seem to be the Covid "like the common cold", it's been around for at least 60 years.
