Well yeah, a new year is a new revolution, that’s how planetary orbits work

The first step to a successful revolution is destroying all competing revolutionaries

Tankies be like: "let the world rain red!"

Seriously though this meme belongs on a tankie specific instance like lemmyml, lemmygrad or hexbear

Who ya calling tankie, my b'y?

[–] possiblylinux127@lemmy.zip 6 points 3 months ago (1 children)

You are literally flagged as a Tankie

Lmao. Sounds great. I'm left leaning for sure, but I detest any sort of authoritarian government.

[–] Arbiter@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

You are using very authoritarian Soviet imagery in your meme, sir.

By that extension, PugJesus is Sulla, marching on rome

Friendly reminder that a revolution is basically inpossible at this point. The rich have too much control over the economy and media and have figured out how to keep the average people apathetic and complacent indefinitely.

So long as they keep boiling us slowly and don't try to do anything very extreme and people still have their empty tv and tiktok to zone out to, then 99% of people aren't going to care enough to do anything.

In case anyone was wondering why Lemmy's active user count plummeted yet again this month.

God I'm tired of leftists getting my hopes up. I feel like it's nothing but empty promises with you people. Maybe save the important words for important people? Happy new year.
