Hey r/Games!

I’d love to share with you our upcoming game, Pairs & Perils, a memory-game roguelike deckbuilder! If this sounds like your kind of game, check out our FREE demo and wishlist on Steam!

Pitch: Pairs & Perils is a memory-based roguelike deckbuilder that adds a strategic twist to the classic game of Pairs. Players match cards, build powerful decks, and face off against increasingly challenging enemies and beat the dungeon!

I started this project because of my passion for roguelike games, and I’ve been refining the concept to deliver a challenging yet rewarding experience. In Pairs & Perils, strategic memory skills are crucial to overcoming obstacles, and I’ve added small narrative choices that impact your journey, making each run feel fresh and engaging.

One more thing – you can upgrade your deck with new cards, enhance your memory-based strategies, and unlock special skills to turn the tide in your favor!

Pairs & Perils also got coverage from Olexa, you can watch it here. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the game so far. I’m super excited to release the game very soon.

Don’t forget to wishlist on Steam to stay updated <3
