There's nothing worse than getting a classic game that's not even sold anywhere anymore and then having to hunt down and apply fixes, watch a tutorial and basically spend 10 minutes to a couple of hours to try and get a game working.

Just package everything together.

One of my favorite quotes regarding programming was "If by me expending some time here fixing this problem, will it save a significant amount of time added up by users not having to do it? If the answer is yes, then I should do it", someone was kind enough to upload Silent Hill 2 Enhanced Edition already patched and it worked perfectly out of the box, perfectly preserved, and ever since then I can't help but feel how lacking preservation efforts regarding games are.

When someone wants to watch a out of print film, you don't expect them to also fix the VCR right?
