If you put some salt in the water, you can get 8G.

[–] Annoyed_Crabby@monyet.cc 32 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Add some lithium foil in it and get 10G

[–] ChicoSuave@lemmy.world 23 points 1 month ago (4 children)

Cesium gets you 16G. It's like 3D 4G, coverage that's twice as deep.

3D 4G is 4G^3, so it would be something like 64G

[–] Etterra@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago (1 children)

That's like 4 Super Nintendos. Nice.

[–] ExcessShiv@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

It's a perfect game-cube some might say.

[–] tdawg@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

Can't wait for the new smash bros on my 64G phone

If you put the phone on top of the glass while adding the Cesium it will reduce the lag by getting closer to Starlink's satellites

There was a video on YouTube once where some dude chucked a big chunk of caesium into a bathtub. It was amazing, thing just disintegrated violently, but I cannot find that video anymore. Probably deleted because YouTube doesn't like cool experiments.

Slingshot around a blackhole and get hundreds of gs

[–] tostiman@sh.itjust.works 62 points 1 month ago

This picture gave me brain damage

[–] fin@sh.itjust.works 27 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Never try that with coca cola as it gets fat

[–] Karyoplasma@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 4 weeks ago

Just reformat the coke to NTFS beforehand.

Probably the year before it was truncated so they can get into more search results. Something like "best 2020 party ideas" (without quotes) might do it.

What happens when I add Mentos to that?

But only for a few seconds

YouTube link to the video: https://youtu.be/Yr8oJWS9sJo

I skimmed through it and it’s as stupid as you’d expect. The person in the video pretends to connect wires together, plugs a USB cable into a phone, then downloads an app to prove the increased internet speed. Comments are disabled and generic music plays over the video instead of any commentary.

[–] cmgvd3lw@discuss.tchncs.de 9 points 1 month ago

You know it works better if you drill a hole near the ear piece and keep the phone under water.

[–] 10_0@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago

how ethernet cabl broken

[–] dsilverz@thelemmy.club 7 points 1 month ago

Lol. I can imagine Mehdi from ElectroBOOM reacting to this (it's something to be... "Rectified").

[–] Fermion@feddit.nl 7 points 1 month ago

4 years and 20 months ago

[–] Lightfire228@pawb.social 4 points 1 month ago

I wonder if this can damage the USB socket or even the motherboard in the phone, or just the cable itself

[–] DavidGarcia@feddit.nl 4 points 1 month ago

Did Viktor Schauberger post this?

If that's 6.9M solution in the glass, it might be a bad number.
