Original Title: Scientists produce "living plastic" that biodegrades, taking spores of bacteria that break down plastic and embedding them in solid plastic. The “living plastic" performs like regular PCL during daily use, but when an enzyme is applied to revive the spores, the plastic is degraded in 6 to 7 days.
