Humorous they think Republicans would vote for a woman to lead them considering they don't see women as having any capacities beyond being birth and baby raising machines that cook, clean and generally maintain the home for a man.

Haley, I think, has the best chance to win in the primaries, after Trump. She appears to be the most moderate, attracting the vanishing number of moderate Republicans, but she still has that authoritarian bent their base of fascists love.

It's still going to be a long shot either way, but this next election cycle is probably going to be a wild one.

Nikki Haley has devolved into Koch Pawn.

I am surprised that her talking points earned her that nomination, they must be super desperate.

If her talking points become more moderate, she could become a contender for Biden. Good thing that won't happen.

Her recent campaign speech in South Carolina was a good one, imho. Her target audience and Biden's has considerable overlap.

It won't matter when she loses the nomination. She'll probably be his VP though and then it's a real shit show.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

But her headline-grabbing TV debate performances and a recent favourability bump in early-voting states, as a once-crowded Republican field begins to thin out, have given hope to those who want an alternative to Mr Trump.

In recent weeks, several high-profile donors have indicated they will back her over Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who is polling in second place but whose campaign appears to be faltering.

It added that internal polling and voter outreach shows Mrs Haley performing best in a hypothetical general election match-up with Joe Biden, the Democrats' current likely 2024 nominee.

Spokesman Steven Cheung said in a statement on Tuesday that no amount of "shady money" would help Mrs Haley defeat Mr Trump.

In its Tuesday memo, AFP Action apologised to DeSantis supporters but warned that a divided primary field would only benefit Mr Trump and "we are entering a time period that demands choices".

During the Trump years, it scored several major policy victories, including on tax reform, but opposed his stance on government spending and trade issues.

[–] NoIWontPickaName@kbin.social 2 points 10 months ago (1 children)

No that’s infertile, inviable is when no one can see you.

[–] atocci@kbin.social 2 points 10 months ago (1 children)
